​What is a custom cake?

Custom Cakes require more creativity, detail, and time, than a standard cake. Each piece on a custom cake is hand crafted making it truly unique for each order.

How much are your custom cakes?

Custom cakes will start at the base price of size and layers desired. Thereafter, cake flavor and design are factored in, contributing to the final cake cost. (See Standard Round Cake prices.)

Can I sample cake flavors?

If you wish to sample the flavor of your cake you may purchase one of our cupcakes or request a mini cupcake sample. Most flavors are readily available for purchase any time. Our custom cakes use the same recipe as our cupcakes.

I reserved my event date for my custom. When will I be contacted for my custom cake quote?

We respond to custom cake order request within 24 hours of receiving the date reserved notice.

Why do you need 2-weeks notice for a custom cake order?

A lot of time and attention is placed on creating each custom cake. Please consider a 2-week notice is required when placing your custom cake order. (See Reserve Custom Cake Calendar for current dates available).

Once you have selected the date you would like to have your custom cake ready, we will contact you to discuss your custom cake order for pricing. You will receive an email invoice for your custom cake deposit or you may make deposit at our shop location. You must place, confirm the details of your cake and complete your deposit before we will be able to start working on your custom cake order. Plan ahead of our required 2-weeks’ notice and book in advance.

Why is there a deposit for a custom cake order?

A deposit is required due to the consideration of factors such as ordering special supplies, hand-making pieces and potentially turning down orders to ensure the completion of each order to highest quality.

* 50 % of the quote you receive for your custom cake will be required before we can begin creating your cake order.

* Deposits are Not refundable.

* Your deposit reserves the date you have selected for the delivery or pickup of your custom cake order.

Do you offer cake delivery?

We provide local delivery of your custom cake. If you prefer to pick up your cake order you are responsible for your custom cake once it has left the shop location.

We offer free local delivery to Clay City, Ingraham, Sailor Springs, Louisville, Noble, Olney, Fairfield, Cisene, Xenia.
